Over on his blog, author Lev Grossman has announced that The Magician King, the much anticipated sequel to his debut The Magicians (at least by me!), will be released at the end of the summer. The only details on the sequel that we have at the moment is that it will take place 5 years after the events of The Magicians.

When last we saw Quentin Coldwater breaks his self-imposed exile from the magical community on the very last page, on the very last line, literally leaving us hanging. A lot can happen in five years in Fillroy, and I can’t wait to find how things are going for our hero.

The Magician King hits stores August 9th.
