Wow, I’m going to have to find someone to work on the site just to keep up with all the Spider-Man 4 casting rumors. According to the reliable Nikki Finke and her sources, the producers of Spider-Man 4 have approached Anne Hathaway to star in the film and while no particular role has been revealed, fans are of course speculating that she will fill the role of Black Cat/Felicia Hardy in Raimi’s latest spin around the web.

If you’ve been able to keep up over the last week, the rumor mill has been overflowing with different casting rumors for Spider-Man 4, all of which were names supposedly in consideration for the new female lead role, rumored to be Black Cat. Those names have included Rachel McAdams (who has since debunked that rumor), Romola Garai (who did audition for a role), and Julia Stiles (who had met with casting directors).

So, what do you say ‘True Believers’ .. is this probably fact or just another in a long line of rumors and if they’re all up for the role, who would you rather see in the cat suit?  Let me know in the comments below.
