Just one month away from the 8th and final installment of the Harry Potter film franchise, author J.K. Rowling has revealed a new and mysterious website called Pottermore that is nothing more than a placeholder with the images above. What could it mean? Well, obviously it means that Harry Potter fans may not have seen the end of their favorite world. But whether it means more books about Harry and Co. or simply more stories set in Rowling’s wizarding world, we will have to wait and see. I myself would kinda like to see how the rest of the wizards and witches of the world get along.
The timing of this development is anything but coincidence. For the first time in the better part of a decade, Harry Potter fans the world over were beginning to fear the withdrawl that would have eventually followed after the 8th film. Now it looks like we may be able to feed the habit for a while longer.
If you head over to the Pottermore site and click on the owls, it will take you to a You Tube page with a counter. The owls are gathering and we’ll find out why in just 5 days and some change! I’m pretty excited. Are you? What do you guys think this announcement will hold for Potter fans?
