Doctor Who season 6.5 begins August 27, and to help us get ready, BBC America has issued a lovely prequel. As if we needed something to get us more excited. Not heavy on the visuals here, though I always love a good look at the TARDIS.

And in case we needed another promo clip (we did), they’ve also issued another one of those, with just a few more snippets of new scenes, and the lovely voiceover work of sci-fi fave and Doctor Who guest star Mark Sheppard. LOTS of visuals here:
