Back in March, we told you about the official start of production on Warner Bros. Pictures and Ledendary Pictures‘ forthcoming follow-up to 2010’s Clash of the Titans, Wrath of the Titans. The film is being directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles, Odysseus) and is slated to hit theaters next March.

Now, THR reports that Warner Bros. Pictures has re-hired Dan Mazeau and David Johnson (Red Riding Hood), writers of Wrath of the Titans to pen the third installment in the franchise, Clash of the Titans 3. It’s said that producers Basil Iwanyk and Polly Cohen Johnsen will also return for the third film.

Wrath of the Titans is slated to hit theaters on March 30th, 2012.

Clash of the Titans 3 is slated to hit theaters in 2013.
