Earlier this month, we brought you news of Matthew Fox (Lost) and Ed Harris (Man on a Ledge) leaving the film adaptation of Paramount’s World War Z, starring Brad Pitt. Fox left due to scheduling conflicts and Harris had a falling through of casting negotiations. So what’s the latest in casting additions to this big screen adaptation of Max Brooks’ novel of the same title?

According to THR Game of Thrones actor Elyes Gabel, who played the Dothraki warrior, Rakharo, has joined the cast of World War Z. Gabel will play a character named Fassbach. Little is known about this character at this point, but we’ll keep you posted as this production fleshes out.

World War Z is slated to hit theaters in 2012.
