Whether retelling the classic tale of Peter Pan bringing Wendy and her brothers to Neverland (Peter Pan), telling the stories of what happened later (Hook), what happened prior (Neverland the mini series), or how it all came to be (Finding Neverland), the stories of Peter Pan and Neverland will never fail to spark the imaginations of children and adults. Another version of an origin story is upon us in Pan for Warner Bros. Pictures.

In this version of the story, Hook and Peter Pan begin as allies with the villain of this story being the pirate Blackbeard, and according to Variety, Hugh Jackman (The Wolverine) is in talks to play the role. They also report that the roles of Peter Pan and Tiger Lily will be open calls for a chance to have a breakout role.

Joe Wright (Anna Karenina) will be directing Pan with a script coming from Jason Fuchs (Ice Age: Continental Drift).
