Wil Wheaton Wields Non-Lethal Weapons On EUREKA

Evil Wil… er… I mean Wil Wheaton Prime will be guest starring on SyFy’s dramedy “Eureka” this summer. Wheaton (“Star Trek: The Next Generation”, “Stand By Me”) will play “the brilliant Dr. Isaac Parrish, head of the Non-Lethal Weapons Lab at Global Dynamics” in an episode called “All The Rage”. This episode will be the third ep in the new fourth season and is expected to air on July 23rd. Wheaton’s character has a “dry wit and superior attitude make him a thorn in Fargo’s (Neil Grayston) side — with potentially disastrous consequences.”

Wheaton couldn’t disclose too much on his blog, but he has been having “a great time” developing his character:

“I’ve had the script for a little while, now, and I’ve been getting to know Dr. Isaac Parrish as I convert the words on the page into a person you’ll see on television. I obviously can’t go into any specifics, but I’ve had a great time developing his backstory, creating his relationships with the characters, giving him secrets and beliefs, and doing all the other parts of character creation that make being an actor so much fun.”

Wheaton has recently guest starred on “Big Bang Theory”, “Leverage”, and “Criminal Minds”, and “Numb3rs”. He has also had a part on Felicia Day’s web series “The Guild” as a villainous leader of a rival guild.

“Eureka” will make its fourth season premiere on July 9th on SyFy at 9/8 pm C.
