Likely inspired by the success of post-episode series Talking Dead with Chris Hardwick, the discussion show that follows The Walking Dead on AMC, TNT has announced a similar post-episode webshow to follow new episodes of Season 2 of Falling Skies, which premieres June 17.

A 15-minute online show hosted by Hardwick’s pal Wil Wheaton, it’s entitled 2nd Watch, to air on http://fallingskies.com. It will include discussions on each week’s episodes, interviews with special guests from the cast and crew, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, fan questions, trivia and more.

Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Leverage) will host 2nd Watch, which is set to launch with a live premiere episode Sunday, June 17, at 11 p.m. (ET), after the two-hour East Coast season premiere of Falling Skies. Airing over nine weeks, 2nd Watch is slated to feature such Falling Skies cast members as Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton, Drew Roy, Maxim Knight, Connor Jessup, Colin Cunningham, Sarah Sanguine Carter, Mpho Koaho and Peter Shinkoda, as well as executive producers Remi Aubuchon and Greg Beeman, consulting producer/writer Mark Verheiden and producer/writers Bradley Thompson and David Weddle.
