The Ghost Hunters will have a special guest helping them out this week when Meredith Vieira joins TAPS to investigate some potentially Apparition-American-inhabited property. The normally confident newswoman and host does get just a wee bit nervy in the clip provided below.

On this episode of Ghost Hunters, TAPS heads to Snug Harbor, in Staten Island, New York. The team is thrilled to be joined by special guest Meredith Vieira (Emmy Award-winning host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire), who will help them investigate this large property that includes historic landmark buildings. The sprawling complex is allegedly haunted by the spirit of a murdered laundry worker, whose apparition has been seen throughout the property. Other claims include a bell ringing, doors slamming shut, a female voice heard in various buildings and moving shadows have been seen.

During one of their most spine-tingling cases to date, the entire team experiences inexplicable activity throughout the night – including moving furniture, flashlights turning on and off by themselves, and disembodied voices abound.

Then, on Monday, October 31, Jason and Grant will pay Meredith a visit on a very special Halloween-themed episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. The duo also appeared on Millionaire last season and won $61,100 to benefit the Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, RI. They have elected to play for the same charity this year.
