First of all, fans of The Maze Runner. Can I get a moment of silence for how long we’ve waited to get to this point? Our first scheduled movie premiere date passed us this Valentine’s Day and we’re all holding out collective breaths that the wait was all worth it. And I’m confident that the wait was totally worth it.
Second of all let me begin with what you probably already know. The premiere of the trailer will be televised on Teen Wolf, Monday night at 10/9c (where The Maze Runner star, Dylan O’Brien stars as Stiles). Here’s a pic released from MTV.
It is also important to note that it will hit the internet before it hits the TV and will be released by Fox’s YouTube channel.
Yes, the trailer will be shown during Teen Wolf. But it’ll also be released first on Fox’s YouTube channel. Not sure when. #mazerunner

And here’s your sneek peek GIF. I could watch this all day.
Imagine this GIF expanded by 100 seconds or so. Tomorrow. #mazerunner http://t.co/viVW6S5aZx

And just because I know we’re all excited, I want to remind you that 100 seconds is short. Very stinking short. It’s technically longer than a teaser trailer, but just barely. The way I hope they use these 100 seconds is flashes of action from the whole movie (something that would be really good for the ol’ pause-play-pause-play action when we rewatch) punctuated by a few spoken lines (and you now we’ll all collectively collapse if they’re lines directly from the book and contain a “shuck” or “klunk” or the likes). Regardless, after the 100 seconds have passed and we’ve replayed the video 4,235,759 times we’re going to be left wanting more.
See you Gladers on the flip side, we’ll post the trailer here tomorrow as soon as we get it.
The Maze Runner starring Dylan O’Brien, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Kaya Scodelario, Will Poulter, Ki Hong Lee, Aml Ameen, Dexter Darden, Blake Cooper and Patricia Clarkson is slated to hit theaters September 19, 2014.
