This week we’re covering The Booth at the End.
This is a great little series that I’ve just started starring Xander Berkeley (Being Human) as The Man. It’s filmed in a diner and revolves around this man who grants wishes in exchange for favors. Here’s the synopsis.
The series follows the storylines of several characters who visit a mysterious figure in the corner booth at the back of a diner. Each character has heard rumors that this Man is able to grant desires, provided that a task is performed. Upon receiving the task, the Man’s only other demand is that the character continually update him on his or her progress. Once the task is complete, the character’s desire is always fulfilled.
There are two seasons available on Hulu and who knows what could come of it if it gained popularity. I really think it’s worth your time. I’m a few episodes in and I can’t wait to see what happens. The acting is fantastic. Here’s the trailer.
