nobility

Ever wanted to hear about the cool new web series before it became a really cool web series? Well this is your chance! Nobility is the fledgeling series you’re looking for. The creators are calling it Firefly meets The Office. Here’s a little blurb from their press release.

Set 700 years into the future, “Nobility” is a fun look at the misfit crew of the Starship Nobility. The dramatic comedy (“Dramedy”) series is a respite for many genre fans and aspiring independent filmmakers who feel the need to wrestle quality and creativity from major studios.

The “Nobility” team will include veteran director Neil Johnson (“Humanity’s End”, “Starship”), Sci-Fi icon Claudia Christian (“Babylon 5”), video game celebrity Cas Anvar (“Assassin’s Creed”, “Halo 4”, “Diana”), and will be written by and acted in by E.J. De la Peña (“Jingle All The Way”, “Boy Meets World”). Co-writing later seasons will be Emmy award-winning writer, Michael Reaves (“Star Wars”, “Star Trek The Next Generation”, “Batman”).

They’re working hard to get funding right now but they’ve put together a few fun YouTube videos to show what they’re working on. Here’s their “intro” video.
