This week we’re covering Agent 88.

An old lady crime fighter is just what this world has been missing, and Kay D’Arcy is here to fill the void. Her character is described as being a cross between Kill Bill, Crank and Mr. Magoo, and she is just that. We were privileged enough to watch the pilot episode for Agent 88 and this granny can kick some tail.

Creator of the series, Digger T. Mesch was inspired by a viral video of an old lady foiling the getaway of a jewelry heist by hitting the gang with her purse. Kay D’Arcy won the audition with her tai chi demonstration and the rest is history. I’ve decided that all my training is going to be more focused so that when I’m in my 80’s I’m just like this lady.

They funded the project on Kickstarter and exceeded their goal so we can expect great things from them but for a limited time the pilot episode is on Chill.com (until August 16th) for just $.88 and it’s worth it. Here’s the Kickstarter video which shows some good behind the scenes shots.
