Jonah Hex debuted in the pages of DC’s 1972 “All-Star Western”. Jonah Hex is a former Confederate soldier whose face is horrifically scarred. He wanders the West acting as a bounty hunter and living by a personal code to avenge wrongdoings and protect the innocent. The title, though initially a Western story, occasionally crossed over into science fiction and horror ever since it’s debut. Now, Warner Bros. has released an official synopsis for their big-screen adaptation of DC Comic Jonah Hex.

“Jonah Hex (Josh Brolin) is a scarred drifter and bounty hunter of last resort, a tough and stoic gunslinger who can track down anyone…and anything. Jonah Hex stars Josh Brolin, MeganFox, and John Malkovich, and is slated to hit theaters June 18th, 2010.
