Warner Bros. Ready To Greenlight THE FLASH, Wonder Woman And Aquaman In Development


Warner Bros. Entertainment chairman and CEO, Barry Meyer revealed some DC Comics hero movie news during the Time Warner investor day in New York City. During his presentation, Meyer stated that the studio is “nearing” a green light for the big screen adaptation of THE FLASH, although there was no word on when an official announcement on the film would be made. Meyer also said that the studio was considering a holiday 2012 release for the reboot, Superman: Man of Steel as well.

THR Reports that the other DC Hero films mentioned during the presentation were Green Lantern, hitting theaters on June 17th, 2011 and the July 20, 2012 release date for the Christopher Nolan‘s thus far, Untitled Batman Project. Meyer also revealed that the other DC adaptations in the studios’ pipeline are Wonder Woman and Aquaman.
