Warner Bros. Pictures to Bring More DC Comics Heroes to the Big Screen

Just last week, we brought you the news about Warner Bros. Pictures hiring Will Beall, writer of Gangster Squad, and the forthcoming remake of Logan’s Run to pen the script that will finally unite the Justice League onscreen, and earlier today, we told you about Green Lantern co-writer Michael Goldenberg being hired to pen a Wonder Woman script for the studio.

Now, Variety reports that The Flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Lobo, Suicide Squad, and Shazam are all also in the pipeline for the big-screen treatment. While we knew definitively that The Flash and Lobo would be getting movies (at some point), the rest of the list is either brand new or previously long-shot rumors from way-back.

Along those hero films, and deciding how to reboot Batman post-Christopher Nolan, the folks at DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures are also reportedly trying to figure out whether or not to bring back Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern in a sequel, or reboot the franchise in a completely new way.
