Last month we brought you the first trailer and poster for director Bryan Singer‘s forthcoming fantasy film, Jack the Giant Killer starring Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class), Eleanor Tomlinson (Alice In Wonderland), Ewan McGregor (Haywire) and Ian McShane (Snow White and the Huntsman).

Now, Deadline reports that Warner Bros. Pictures has shifted the release date for the film almost an entire year. The project was supposed to hit theaters on June 15th, 2012 and now Singer’s film won’t be hitting theaters until March 22nd, 2013.

Synopsis:

A modern day fairy tale in which the long-standing peace between men and giants is threatened, as a young farmer leads an expedition into the giants’ kingdom in hopes of rescuing a kidnapped princess.

Jack the Giant Killer directed by Bryan Singer and starring Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Ewan McGregor, Ian McShane, Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy, John Kassir, Eddie Marsan and Warwick Davis is slated to hit theaters on March 22nd, 2013.
