WARNER BROS Has Plans For SUPERMAN

There has been so much legal wrangling over the past months about the rights to the character, his origins etc. and it has been so messy that most people have speculated that the chances of us getting a new Superman project on the big screen in the near future are slim to none.

Today we’ve learned that Warner Bros. is indeed eyeballing pitches for a new film, and they also plan to settle with the Siegel and Shuster families and work out a deal to merge all the Superman rights. Once they have jumped those hurdles, the suits at Warner Bros are going to be chomping at the bit to get a new Superman up, up and away to a theater near you.

According to the report, even though Warner Bros. already lost the rights to Superman’s origins, after the merger, they are likely to reboot the franchise, which means that we will be treated to yet another origin story in the first new film.
