Back in June, we brought you the news when Warner Bros. Pictures hired Will Beall, writer of Gangster Squad, and the forthcoming remake of Logan’s Run to pen the script that will finally unite the DC heroes of the Justice League onscreen.

In a multi-studio project update via THR, the trade reports that even with Christopher Nolan‘s  final Bat-installment, The Dark Knight Rises still simmering in theaters, The Brothers Warner are already putting plans into motion “to resuscitate Batman as a stand-alone franchise and/or as part of a planned Justice League ensemble that could connect to next summer’s Man of Steel.”

No production or release dates have been announced for Justice League or an as yet Untitled Batman Reboot. Stay tuned!
