Warehouse 13 Spin-Off: Jaime Murray’s H.G. Wells Gets Her Own Series On Syfy

H.G. Wells, from Syfy’s Warehouse 13, played by Jaime Murray (Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, Dexter) will be getting her own series. Yes, H.G. aka Helena G. Wells is a woman in the Warehouse 13 world! Warehouse 13 showrunner Jack Kenny and writer Bob Goodman are preparing a spin-off series to take place in an 1890s steampunk environment.

The new series will follow H.G. as a free agent, despite the efforts of Warehouse 12 to recruit her, as she uses “her knowledge of contemporary science to solve murders and other mysteries.” Wells would “enlist the help of a mechanical engineer and utilize her relationship with the police commissioner to solve what appear to be unsolvable cases.” It is her story and skills that inspire her brother to write the stories of H.G. Wells.

[The Shakedown]
Now, this character of H.G., you sorta liked her and distrusted her at the same time since we met her jail broke from the Bronze sector. Even later when she seemed reformed, she was clearly not on the same page as the rest of the Warehouse 13 crew (ie the incident with the trident!) Do you guys like her enough to watch a whole series on her? She sure did have some great gadgets and a steampunk environment seems to suit her best. Is there enough meat in her story for you?
