Supes is going to come up against some more baddie company on the CW’s “Smallville”.  The show has just added another DC villain to the mix.  Silver Banshee aka Siobhan McDougal, “a vengeful spirit of a fallen Gaelic heroine accidently released from the underworld and takes her vengeance at an unassuming country bed and breakfast”.  Of course, who happens to be staying at said bed and breakfast but Lois (Erica Durance) and Clark (Tom Welling)!  This villainess will appear in Episode # 16, entitled “Escape”.

Silver Banshee will be played by Odessa Rae. Rae has just been seen on the latest episode of TNT’s “Leverage” about a band of criminals that work together to help the wronged people who need help.  Rae played Cora McRory, the person in need of help, in “The Bottle Job”.  You might have noticed her for her long, flowing red hair in that episode.  Here’s a screen cap of her in “Leverage”.

As her name implies, Silver Banshee’s powers stem from sonic powers among which include her lethal Sonic Scream/ Death Wail and the ability to teleport.  She also has superhuman speed, durability, and the strength of ten men.  Love to see how they interpret her for television!
