As SciFiMafia reported, David Anders (“Heroes”, “Alias”) will be guest starring on the CW’s “Vampire Diaires” as Jonathan Gilbert, the uncle of Elena and Jeremy Gilbert. Executive producer Julie Plec talks about casting Anders:
“When we started talking about this role, I immediately thought, ‘What about Sark from Alias?’ We called his agent the next day and the day after that [the deal was] done.”
Anders will appear on the April 15th episode when the Gilbert kids have to deal with the sale their late father’s doctor office. Kevin Williamson, also exec producing on “Vampire Diaries”, hints:
“But like everyone else in town, he’s there for something [else]. His intentions are not pure.”
Here’s a first look at David Anders in “Vampire Diaries”:
Ooohh, baby, Damon’s going on a Cougar hunt! This bad boy will be hooking up with an older woman in upcoming episodes. Melinda Clarke was cast as Matt’s mom, Kelly, who makes a connection with Damon (played by Ian Somerhalder). Plec talks about this sexy relationship:
“The two of them hit it off instantly and form a bond that results in some hard-core flirtin’ and sexin’.”
“Damon isn’t just about the high school girls. He’s a worldly guy, so watching him sex it up with a real woman was very exciting.”
