Pixar’s latest instant classic, “Up,” took off to the sum of $68.2 million for the weekend. In comparison, it took last weekend’s winner, “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian,” four days to gross $70.
“Up” was the third biggest opening in Disney animated film history after “The Incredibles” and “Finding Nemo” which grossed around $70 million in their opening weekends.
