You’d think, after starring in True Blood, that Stephen Moyer would have had it up to his fangs with vampires. Yet the British actor has become the latest actor to sign on to TokyoPop Comic turned feature film, Priest, in which Paul Bettany plays a badass clergyman hunting down a group of fanged fiends who have kidnapped his niece.

Moyer, who plays the bloodsucking Bill on the acclaimed HBO show, might have been attracted to Priest by due to the fact that he won’t have to strap on a pair of fangs. Instead, he’ll play Bettany’s human brother.

Filming on the Scott Stewart-directed movie begins today in Los Angeles, and Moyer isn’t the only bit of last-minute casting. 90210 star, Lily Collins, has signed on to play the Searchers-style niece, completing a fine ensemble that also includes Maggie Q, Cam Gigandet and Karl Urban, who will play the villainous Black Hat.
