Just a few days ago, we brought you news of the collector’s edition version of Disney Interactive‘s upcoming release, Tron: Evolution – The Video Game which includes that awesome model of the Tron light cycle created by Sideshow Collectibles.

Now, we have gotten our hands on a very cool behind the scenes video about the making of Tron: Evolution and it’s connection to the Tron: Legacy film (and Olivia Wilde is in it). Plus, we have a nifty gameplay trailer that shows off some actual, well.. gameplay instead of just the nifty cut-scenes and trailers we’ve seen so far.

Game Synopsis:

The world of TRON is awaiting a new participant… TRON Evolution the video game is an action/adventure for the Xbox 360®, PLAYSTATION®3 and Windows PC. TRON Evolution features an epic adventure across a massive digital world where you will need skill and instinct to survive. Engage in high energy light disc combat and compete in intense light cycle races as you lead an epic battle to free the world of TRON from a merciless enemy. Set during the era between the two TRON films, TRON Evolution reveals the TRON mythology. TRON Evolution will give fans an insight into the past and the events that have unfolded since the original TRON movie was released. TRON Evolution is due for release in winter 2010.

Tron: Evolution will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, portable versions will be available for Nintendo DS and PSP, and a multiplayer version, Tron: Evolution Battle Grids will be available for Nintendo Wii.

Tron: Evolution hits stores on November 1st 2010.

Tron Legacy, directed by Joseph Kosinsk hits theaters on December 17th and stars Jeff Bridges, Michael Sheen, Olivia Wilde, Garrett Hedlund, Serinda Swan, Bruce Boxleitner, John Hurt and Beau Garrett.
