Transformers: Dark of the Moon – Bumblebee Gets Pissed Off In Chevrolet’s Super Bowl XLV Ad


Just last week, I told you about the boatload of trailers and tv spots for the upcoming geek film slate that are set to air during the broadcast of Super Bowl XLV on February 6th. Luckily, we get an early look at (at least) one of the commercials, which is a bit of a cross-over for Chevrolet and Michael Bay‘s upcoming Transformers film, Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

The wonderful people of China, who never cease to amaze me with these giant robot statues (remember the Gundam?) have constructed a gigantic Optimus Prime statue in Shenyang, made of 20 recycled vehicles, weighing in at a mere 11-ton, and standing 36 feet tall. Check it out in the video below!

Transformers: Dark of the Moon hits theaters on July 1st, 2011 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey and Alan Tudyk.
