Transformers 3: Michael Bay To Shoot At NASA’S Kennedy Space Center

We brought you some behind the scenes video from a Transformers 3 shoot in Los Angeles just yesterday, now comes word from Central Florida News 13 that Michael Bay‘s third installment in the Transformers franchise will be shooting on the Space Coast of Florida.

Space Coast Film Commissioner Bonnie King told CFN13 that Bay’s location scouts have visited Kennedy Space Center (where Bay filmed scenes for Armageddon), Patrick Air Force Base; Space Coast Regional Airport, in Titusville; Merritt Island Airport; Lone Cabbage Fish Camp, in Cocoa; and a Cocoa Beach house. Scouts also reportedly checked out some swamps and went into the woods as well.

Shooting on the Space Coast will take place in early September and last eight days.
