Last month, we brought you the news that Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel were being considered for roles in director Len Wiseman‘s (Underworld 4: New Dawn, The World After) forthcoming, contemporized adaptation of the original Total Recall, which was based on Philip K. Dick‘s novelette, “We Can Remember It for You Wholesale”.
Now, THR reports that Beckinsale has landed the role of Lori, and Biel has scored the role of Melina. In addition to the two female lead roles being cast, Bill Nighy (Jack the Giant Killer) has also joined the cast and will play Quatto, the leader of the resistance.
Total Recall is slated to hit theaters on August 3rd, 2012.
