Torchwood will be introducing a companion web spin off series called Web of Lies and in case you didn’t get the references in my heavy-handed headline, this web series may star Eliza Dushku (Dollhouse, Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Writer/producer Jane Espenson has hinted such a wonderous piece of casting news in her tweets recently and Dushku herself has re-tweeted links about Web of Lies.

Faith, Tru, and Echo are all characters that Dushku has played in Buffy, Tru Calling, and Dollhouse and all three of these shows are shows that Espenson has also worked on as a writer and producer. One thing’s for sure. Dushku will make Torchwood: Web of Lies hella awesome!
