Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello has announced that he is scoring Jon Favreau’s Iron Man 2. Morello confirmed that he is working with composer – and Academy award nominee, John Debney on the metal-driven music for the second installment in the IRON MAN franchise.

Morello wrote on Twitter,

“Is that really me in ‘Iron Man’?” “Of course. ‘Iron Man’ kicks my ass. I’m working on score for ‘Iron Man 2′. Rockin’, movie is awesome.”

It’s not yet known if Morello, who helped with the score of the first film and had a cameo as a terrorist will get another turn on the big screen in the sequel.
