Tickets Already Selling Out for THE AVENGERS, Plus New Images and a Release Date for Captain America 2


Just yesterday, we brought you the first official clip from The Avengers, featuring Scarlett Johansson‘s Black Widow and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg). Now we have a cornucopia of images from Joss Whedon‘s hotly anticipated Marvel Studios film, an update on that AMC Theaters Marvel Marathon we told you about previously, and an official release date for the follow-up to Captain America: The First Avenger.

First, we have a new closeup image of the new Mark Ruffalo-like Hulk from The Avengers.

Next, we have a handful of Desktop Wallpaper from the Toys “R” Us movie tie-in site.

 

Not to be outdone, Wyndham Hotels have their own movie tie-in site called HotelsAssemble.com, which features more desktop wallpaper etc.

Back in March, we brought you the news when AMC Theaters announced that their Ultimate Marvel Marathon which will take place beginning at 11:30 AM on on May 3rd at select theaters. The event will include all five of Marvel Studios‘ previous films, beginning with the original Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger, all leading up to the midnight showing of director Joss Whedon‘s hotly anticipated superhero team-up with The Avengers.

Now, AMC Theaters has announced that they are adding more showings at theaters because the event has already sold out. If this is any indication, the regular showings of The Avengers are going to sell out quick as well.
