THOR: New Posters Feature Sibling Rivalry of Godlike Proportions

Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios have released two new posters for the Kenneth Branagh directed film, Thor starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Stellan Skarsgard, Jaimie Alexander, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Josh Dallas, Tadanobu Asano, Idris Elba, Clark Gregg and Colm Feore.

We have been getting inundated with Thor posters lately, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down. If my count is correct, I believe we’re up to about 12 posters now. Check out the two latest posters below, featuring the brothers Thor (God of Thunder) and Loki (God of Lies and Mischief), going helmet to helmet!

“Verily, clicking the images below will enlarge them to Asgardian proportions!”

Synopsis:

The epic adventure THOR spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the mystical realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. As a result, Thor is banished to Earth where he is forced to live among humans. When the most dangerous villain of his world sends its darkest forces to invade Earth, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero.

THOR directed by Kenneth Branagh is slated to hit U.K. theaters on April 29th, 2011 and U.S. theaters on May 6th, 2011.
