Back in April, we brought you the news about 20th Century Fox setting production of the James Mangold directed film, The Wolverine in lead actor, Hugh Jackman’s hometown of Sydney Australia, with location shooting being done in Japan, and most of the film’s post-production done in the U.S., assisted by Australia-based companies.

Now, thanks to Jackman himself answering a fan’s question on Twitter, we know that the film will begin shooting this summer!

“starts shooting in August!!!”

The Wolverine is slated to hit theaters on July 26th, 2013.
