The Walking Dead Season 3 New Poster, New Tagline, New Character

We have more than a month to wait until Season 3 of The Walking Dead premieres on AMC, so all TWD news is especially welcome here and now. Today we bring you the new poster for the season, and it comes complete with a handy dandy new “tagline” that indicates to us that Season 3 ain’t gonna be pretty. It is, however, gonna be pretty badass.

Now for the new character. The Powers That Be on AMC‘s version of The Walking Dead have often strayed from the path of the comic series upon which it is based, both because some aspects wouldn’t translate well and because they want to allow the comics readers to be surprised by some of the storylines, to make it fresh.

We now know of one more way that they are changing things up in the upcoming Season 3. EW has reported some great casting news for fans of Rubicon or The Good Wife, in the form of the very talented Dallas Roberts. He will be playing Milton, a character that was never a part of the comic series. Milton will be a Woodbury resident and will be contributing by studying zombie behavior. There is a promise of zombie experimentation to come.

So, are you ready? We are very ready. We’ll keep you posted.
