Given the success of The Vampire Diaries for The CW, it was not a stretch to think that last week’s backdoor pilot, the episode “The Originals”, would get the go-ahead for a series. Sure enough, The CW has announced that we will be seeing the new TVD spinoff series The Originals on The CW‘s fall schedule.
