THE NERDIST Crew on Their Favorite DOCTOR WHO Season 6 Moments

We love that BBC America knows its audience well enough to promote the new Nerdist special by posting a video about Doctor Who. As you may recall, Chris Hardwick, aka The Nerdist, hosted the BBC America Doctor Who “Best of” specials (Doctor Who: Best of the Monsters, etc.) last August.

The next will be a Doctor Who: Best of the Christmas Specials to air on Christmas Eve, followed  by a year-end special.  To promote the specials, BBC America asked him and his pals about their favorite Doctor Who moments from season six. Check out the video and press release below for all the details on the special!

Wow, what’s the deal with The Silents and these guys? What about “The Doctor’s Wife”? “A Good Man Goes to War”? Stay here with SciFi Mafia and we’ll show you someone with excellent credentials who has something to say about that.

Watch an exclusive video featuring Chris Hardwick, Wil Wheaton & their NERDIST pals as they reminisce on their favorite moments from the 2011 season of Doctor Who.

Find out what episode Wil Wheaton (Eureka, Star Trek: The Next Generation) describes as “so inspired [with that] weird, timey-wimey Doctor Who thing that only happens on one show”? And which monster did Chris Hardwick (host, The Nerdist) describe as “mind-f#cking stuff”? Plus, which episode made Nerdist sidekick Matt Mira scream out-loud, “I’m a nerd, and this is great”?

Don’t miss THE NERDIST: YEAR IN REVIEW *** Premiering Saturday Dec 24 at 9/8c *** immediately following Doctor Who: Best of the Christmas Specials at 8/7c, only on BBC America.

The Nerdist: Year in Review is a one-hour year-end review where Hardwick and his team of nerd experts review the best of the U.S. and the UK’s top nerd moments, gadgets and superheroes of 2011, and geek-tastic reviews of the year’s best moments from Comic Con and Doctor Who.
