Siblings Andy and Lana Wachowski who were the masterminds behind The Matrix franchise have teamed up with J. Michael Straczynski of Babylon 5 on their first television venture to create a 10 episode sci-fi drama entitled Sense8.

Sense8 is said to be “a gripping global tale of minds linked and souls hunted” as reported by Deadline. As someone who really enjoyed how ground breaking The Matrix was, I’m really looking forward to seeing what this team comes up with for us.

Sense8 is set to debut on Netflix in late 2014.
