THE LOSERS Release Date Gets Shifted Back To April

We told you just 5 days ago that Warner Bros. Pictures had decided to reschedule the release date of “The Losers” from April 9th to June 4th. Warner Bros. has apparently had a change of heart and has now decided to moved The Losers up from June 4th to an April 23rd release date. Assuming that it now stays on the 23rd, the film will be going head to head with Saturday Night Live’s “MacGruber” and the Oliver Stone sequel Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.

The Losers: Based on the DC Comics title, the film centers upon the members of an elite U.S. Special Forces unit sent into the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. The team – Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar -find themselves the target of a lethal betrayal instigated from inside by a powerful enemy known only as Max. Presumed dead, the group makes plans to even the score when they’re joined by the mysterious Aisha, a beautiful operative with her own agenda. Working together, they must remain deep undercover while tracking the heavily-guarded Max, a ruthless man bent on embroiling the world in a new high-tech global war.

The Losers stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Columbus Short, Holt McCallany, Oscar Jaenada, Jason Patric and Peter Macdissi.
