The Island Rejoices as Terry O’Quinn Lands Starring Role in Genre Pilot

FINALLY! Not that we didn’t enjoy seeing Terry O’Quinn on The Island in Hawaii Five-0, looking healthy and happy (well, until things took a turn) but it wasn’t exactly a challenging role for him. We saw what he could do as John Locke/Smokey on Lost, and we want more of that. The man is a star.

You probably heard me hollering hallelujah when Deadline reported the scoop that Terry O’Quinn has in fact been cast in a pilot we told you about last month, 666 Park Avenue. And it’s at his Lost home of ABC!

We now have a little bit more information about the plot; we’re not sure if all that we’ve seen is correct and these are just new details, or if this indicates a change. Although it’s based on the book series by Gabriella Pierce, it appears that the details vary quite a bit.

The series centers on an innocent couple who move from the midwest to be resident managers of a Park Avenue apartment building, one of the most historic buildings in New York City. Unwittingly they begin to experience supernatural activity which affects and threatens the lives of the residents. Our Mr. O’Quinn will be playing “Gavin,” the building’s owner.

We WILL keep you posted; we can’t wait to hear more!
