Seth Rogen‘s upcoming film, The Green Hornet is getting a release date shift. While there’s wide speculation around the web that Sony Pictures is simply unhappy with the film and may be making some drastic changes, according to Entertainment Weekly, the studio made the move from December 22, 2010 to January 14, 2011 so they would have more time to convert the movie to 3D.
Sony Pictures vice-chairman Jeff Blake says that he is excited about the film’s 3D prospects and that director Michael Gondry had shot the movie with a depth and scope that lends itself to the technology.
