Fans will have to wait a little longer to find out what the titular Event is in NBC’s The Event. The series will return one week later from the midseason break than originally scheduled, but the good news is that the show will return with a two-hour long episode on March 7, 2010.

This scheduling change comes in reaction to the episode order cut for NBC’s superhero series, The Cape. This way, The Cape is still allowed to complete its freshman season run.

Watch the return of The Event on NBC on Monday, March 7, 2010 at 8/7C.
