The Dark Knight Rises: Stargate’s Christopher Judge Joins the Cast


Last month, Josh Stewart (Rehab, The Collection) from ABC‘s now-canceled superhero series, No Ordinary Family joined the cast in a yet-to-be-confirmed role in director Christopher Nolan‘s forthcoming, final entry in his Bat-Trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises.

Now, Coventry Telegraph reports that actor Christopher Judge (Andromeda, Stargate SG-1) has announced via Twitter that he has joined the cast of The Dark Knight Rises.

Judge hasn’t disclosed his role, but it was pointed out that his distinct voice and look could point to a noteworthy role.

The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar winner Marion Cotillard (La Vie en Rose), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar winner Michael Caine (The Cider House Rules) plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar winner Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby) reprises the role of Lucius Fox.

The Dark Knight Rises is slated to hit theaters on July 20th, 2012.
