Mark your calendars Bat-fans, Warner Bros. Pictures will release the big black bat back into theaters on July 20, 2012. Christopher Nolan‘s Batman 3 will hit theaters just two and a half months after Marvel Studios‘ The Avengers debuts in May, about two weeks after Sony Pictures‘ Spider-Man reboot launches in July and about a month before J.J. Abrams‘ Star Trek Sequel.

2012 is shaping up to be the year of the Sci-Fi/Comic Book Geek and with the apocalypse approaching that December, at least we get to see all these great movies before we watch the world crumble beneath our feet… that is, unless John Cusack gets a bigger limo and saves all our asses!
