‘The Crow’ Remake Is A Reboot With A New Character

A source very close to the development of the forthcoming The Crow remake tells Mania that Stephen Norrington is set to deliver his script for the film this month and that it will be very different from the James O’Barr adaptation from 1994. Their source says that the story is “very different from the original – a whole new story about a whole new character.” Norrington told Variety, “[Alex] Proyas’ original was gloriously gothic and stylized, the new movie will be realistic, hard-edged and mysterious, almost documentary-style.”

[RANT] “Very Different from the original”, meaning it will probably suck like the vacuum of space and will crap all over the memory of Brandon Lee and ignore the creative genius of James O’Barr.
