The Black Pearl Docks In Hawaii For PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES

The Black Pearl has docked on the island of Oahu, Hawaii at Kalaeloa Barbers Point Harbor. Oahu is the same island where ABC has filmed all six seasons of LOST. Four separate Black Pearls have been built for franchise thus far. The more sea-worthy Black Pearl was built around the ship Sunset (which is the ship docked in Oahu for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides).

The Black Pearl (HMS Sunset) was built in the shipyards at Bayou La Batre in Alabama. Filming on the fourth installment in the Pirates franchise is slated to begin this summer.

Hawaii News Now did a report on the arrival of the Black Pearl that you can watch below.
