Have you seen The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey yet? We thought we had seen the final production video blog from Peter Jackson for this first installment of the Hobbit trilogy, but he has one more for us. Don’t worry; as always, it’s basically spoiler free. It’s mostly about the premiere but it’s great to see what they put into it, and interesting to see how close they cut it to get the final version to the screen on time.

Congratulations to all involved in the production of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey; Deadline reports that it set records for the biggest December Friday and biggest December weekend for the domestic box office, and brought in $223 million worldwide as of yesterday morning.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hit theaters December 14, 2012. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will be released Dec. 13, 2013; the third installment in the series, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, will hit theaters July 18, 2014.
