TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Reboot Picks Up New Writers

As SciFi Mafia reported to you last August, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot effort under Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon had just brought Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes production company aboard to propel the project forward.

Now, according to Deadline, it looks like the reboot has dropped the previously announced writers of Art Marcum and Matt Holloway of Iron Man in favor of Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec, the duo behind the revival of another Paramount franchise, Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot was originally thought to have a release date of 2012. No word yet on how this change in script has impacted the reboot’s timeline.
