Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Love Acutally, The Game of Thrones) nabbed the role of Newt, Aml Ameen (Kidulthood) will be playing Alby, Will Poulter (The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader) has been cast as Gally and the only female role of Theresa goes to Kaya Scodelario (Skins). Patiently (or not so much), we’ve been waiting for casting news for Thomas.
Wait no longer!
When I read that a star from Teen Wolf (a show which I love and adore) had been cast in the role of Thomas, I chanted please-be-stiles-please-be-stiles-please-be-stiles, AND Y’ALL. Dreams do come true. Dylan O’Brien (who uh, plays Stiles in Teen Wolf) has been cast as the lead, Thomas, in The Maze Runner according to Deadline, and he could not be a more perfect fit. Trust me.
I cannot wait to see what comes next!
