Syfy Tweaks New Show Premiere Schedule

We told you back in April about Syfy‘s planned new shows for summer and fall. Things have now changed for some of the July shows and for one show that was intended to be part of the network’s 31 Days of Halloween programming, Jamie Foxx‘s five-episode horror anthology series.

According to Deadline, the series, which was to be written and directed by Foxx, has been put on hold for “scheduling reasons”. Foxx is busy promoting his about-to-be-released White House Down and has just completed his role in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

But that isn’t the only changeup at Syfy; here’s the press release about July programming:

This new original series will now air Wednesdays at 10:00PM ET/PT beginning Wednesday, July, 24th.

WEIRD OR WHAT
New episodes of Weird or What will air at 8PM, 9PM and 10PM on Tuesday, July 16th and Tuesday, July 23rd.

HAUNTED HIGH WAY and KILLER CONTACT
New airdates for Haunted Highway (Season 2) and Killer Contact (series premiere), which were originally scheduled for July, will be announced at a later date.
